Lennart Nilsson sold his first image in 1938 to Dagens Nyheter, the major Stockholm newspaper. Since then he has captured images of well known actors, artists, writers, directors and later buggs, ants, and cells, foetuses, viruses and bacteria. He is as much an inventor and scientist as he is photographer. This year he turned ninety, still working full speed with capturing images of the brain and diseases like Alzheimers. An amazing man with a very rich life.</p>
